Lost Without A Sea

As the hammer meets the nail
piercing a hole in his heart;

water flows,
atop the violent blue.

As the wind meets the mast
blustering a gash in his sail;

abandon ship,
is pronounced to the crew.

As the order was resounded
courageous men were still driven;

advancing repairs,
while sinking so true.

As the captain's splash
inflicted only broken bones from the smash;

he now dangles in view -

lost without a sea.
