Birch Tree

I walk along following a long path of stark white wild flowers
Standing on the side of the road, peeking through the tall grass
A pale yellow butterfly flutters to join a copper colored one, flying by
There is not a cloud in the sky, clear blue is all that I can see above me
Acorns are scattered on the ground, laying with some bright orange leaves
A chipmunk peaks from a hole in a stump, watching me with curiosity
The birds chirp softly in the trees painted with sunlight, as I pass, I listen
Slowly my mind clears like the open sky above, as I return peacefully
With the image of the tall white birch tree I saw, shining in the light
